The show will feature the Ginger Wildheart Band, Eureka Machines, Oaf, Tropical Contact and other special guests, followed by an aftershow party with Ginger and others DJ-ing until 3am.

Ginger says: ‘I’m very excited to present my first Halloween special, an event that I hope will develop into a Midlands tradition if this one goes well.

I’m gathering together six of my absolute favourite bands to perform, including Eureka Machines, Scaramanga Six and The Ginger Wildheart Band, and there will be an aftershow party with the likes of myself, Chris Catalyst, Rich Jones and Random Jon Poole acting as resident DJs for the night.

Don’t make any plans for the next day, this Halloween we plan on bringing the biggest party of the year.’

The Wildhearts at the Download Festival

The Wildhearts have been added to the line up for the Download Festival at Castle Donington.

CJ says: “Well, they just can’t get rid of us. It’s only 20 years since we first played Donington – and in 2008 they turned the power off on us. Who knows what will happen this year? Bring it on!”

The band are due to play the Zippo Encore stage on Saturday 14th June. See http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/ for full details and ticket prices

Ginger to play at Camden Rocks

Ginger will be playing a solo show at the all-day Camden Rocks festival on the 31st May. Tickets are £20 from the Camden Rocks website

“This is one big Rock n Roll street party,” explains organizer Chris McCormack. “It’s now in pretty much every venue in Camden. It’s pretty cool to be able to turn Camden into the noisiest place on earth for a day! 200 of the best new guitar bands in 20 venues!”

The line-up features a number of other bands familiar to followers of Ginger, including Exit International and Acoustic TV (Terrorvision’s Tony Wright).

Ginger’s Birthday Gig 2013

Ginger’s birthday gig of 2013 was a roaring success, strewn with guests and featuring several Ginger band incarnations from Hey! Hello! to the Ginger Wildheart Band to The Wildhearts.

As Ginger requests, please only ticket holders should vote: “Please, ticket buyers only. It’s really pointless filling the set with requests from people who won’t be there.”
