Ginger Wildheart Headline Shows

Ginger has confirmed a number of headline shows in October, taking advantage of a few ‘rest’ days on the Slash tour.

Tickets are available from TicketWeb for Wrexham, and from SeeTickets for Leeds.

More news on any more rest days cancelled to bring you top quality rock shows as we get it.

Ginger London Acoustic Show – 28th September 2012

Ginger has announced an acoustic show at London’s Jubilee @ Camden Barfly on September 28, in addition to his 5 Aug appearance at Rebellion festival in Blackpool

The All Things Wildhearts Facebook page includes a voting section to request for songs to be played (search for Jenny Leeder’s post). As Ginger requests, please only ticket holders should vote: “Please, ticket buyers only. It’s really pointless filling the set with requests from people who won’t be there.”

Tickets cost £15 and are available from HMV tickets

Download Warm-Up Dates

Ginger will play a number of warm-up shows in the run up to his appearance at Download Festival.

These shows have now been confirmed as:

• 1st June – Belfast, Mandella Hall – Tickets
• 2nd June – Manchester, Club Academy – Tickets
• 3rd June – Glasgow, Cathouse – Tickets
• 4th June – York, The Duchess – Tickets
• 5th June – Birmingham, The Asylum – Tickets
• 9th June – Download Festival

The band will consist of Chris Catalyst, Denzel, Rich Jones, Victoria Liedtke & Random Jon Poole.

Special guests in Manchester, Glasgow, York and Birmingham will be The Guns and Baby Godzilla, whilst joining Ginger in Belfast will be LaFaro and Trucker Diablo.

Ginger Birthday Gig Early Start

We’re hearing from Rich Jones, that the Birthday gig will have an early start tomorrow, with doors at 6pm and Ginger on-stage at 6:30. This is because of a 10pm curfew at the venue.

So please let people know to get down early in order to catch the full set. Note no support bands for this one. More news as we get it.

Ritch back for Ginger & Friends Festival shows

We are delighted to announce that Mr Ritch Battersby will be coming out of retirement to get behind the drum kit for two special Ginger & Friends Festival shows.

Ritch will be back behind the kit at Stormin’ the Castle in Durham on September 3rd & The Norfolk Spectacular on September 4th. Ginger & Ritch will be joined onstage by Willie Dowling, Random Jon Poole & Rich Jones. Tickets are on sale now.

FREE Ginger Show!

Ginger will be playing a FREE gig at The Asylum in Birmingham on July 6th as a warm up for this year’s Sonisphere Festival.

Ginger will be joined by ‘Random’ Jon Poole, Rich Jones & Denzil, and will play both an electric and an acoustic set. Support will come from Exit_International and Vincent & The OnePotts to entertain you in between sets.

There are no tickets – just turn up and enjoy the party! Doors open at 7pm and the night will finish at 10.30pm. We have a capacity of 500 so should be able to accommodate everyone. Please note this is strictly an 18+ gig.

Remember this is a FREE gig, so get down early & bring your friends with you for a very special night. There will also be an exclusive Asylum t-shirt available just for this gig.

Ginger and Friends to play Sonisphere

Ginger has been announced on the bill for this years Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth.

He will play the Bohemia stage on Saturday 9th July, on stage at 7.25pm. Joining him will be ‘Random’ Jon Poole, Rich Jones and Denzil, and between them they will be rattling through a set of Wildhearts material to entertain you all.

Ginger Birthday Show 2011

Once again we will be celebrating the birthday of Ginger Wildheart on the 17th December 2011 with a very special Ginger and Friends performance in the capital.

Having sold out two years in a row at The Relentless Garage, this year’s event will be at the O2 Academy Islington for the first time.

Previous guests who have joined Ginger on stage include Paul Cook (Sex Pistols), Chris McCormack (3 Colours Red), Nathan Connolly (Snow Patrol), Olga (Toy Dolls), Ray Mcveigh (The Professionals), Tom Spencer (Yo Yo’s), Rich Jones (Black Halos) Conny Bloom (Electric Boys), Willie Dowling (Honeycrack) Alex Kane (Antiproduct) and many, many more.

Well, we did warn you to be quick!

Congratulations to everyone who managed to get tickets for Ginger’s Birthday gig, and commiserations to those who will miss out because the show has now sold out.
